Blind dates – Unleashed
Your friend introduced to this new dating service in town. And to your surprise it’s the most exciting of the lot – The Blind Date. You are super excited and tomorrow – the scheduled slot where you would be meeting your first blind date.
Blind dating is an arrangement where couples who have not seen each other ever meet over physically. This could be the most exciting thing a youth could ever experiment in his or her life. Having said that, Blind date can come with its own set of unexpected surprise package where you end up disliking your date on first look.
There aren’t many tips that I can offer on blind dates except being yourself and staying calm. It is important to be the one who you are on the d-day. Don’t be over prepared for a blind date. It is just a trial date or something short lived. Start conversations like “Hey! What was going through your mind while you were coming?” or appraise your date “Wow! You are beautiful! “. These are positive ways to initiate conversation. While on a blind date, first impression could be your last impression. Therefore, strike gold as early as possible.
Some people associate blind date with a quick way to get laid. It reminds me of the famous quote that “Not everything that looks yellow is gold”. Not every woman who is on a blind date looking for a quick buck through sex. You are on a date and not in a flesh trade market. Be gentle and romantic. Who doesn’t likes to be loved and pampered? Talk sweetly with your lady and she might give you her number to call you post supper! That’s it, meet her again and discover if she is the lady of your dreams. Get into a relationship with her and make it count. There is no dearth of people who are looking for a short term relationship with her. Could you be her man and love her for lifetime? Then maybe she would be interested in you.
If you don’t wish to date further with your date don’t abuse them! Every person carries a self esteem so be respectful. Be subtle and polite. You can always befriend them. After all, it was just a blind date. Remember, that you were not looking for something for a long term basis. It was more like a trial and error method. So you have nothing to lose. Move on and try another.
